“Many of us are afraid to follow our passions, to pursue what we want most because it means taking risks and even facing failure. But to pursue your passion with all your heart and soul is success in itself. The greatest failure is to have never really tried.”~Robyn Allen

I just had to find out what the internet was all about.

That was back in 1999, when we were all receiving those free 1000 hours of AOL offers in the mail. My partner John’s interest came nowhere near mine, so I trotted down to a nearby Radio Shack, bought the phone jack, hooked us up…and never looked back.

Fifteen years later, I am still a huge fan of online networking. During my virtual odyssey I’ve met fellow writers, baby boomers, coaches, consultants and people in a wide variety of other occupations and with a broad range of interests from as near as a few miles away from my Syracuse, New York home to as far away as Australia. I have found the World Wide Web to be by and large a friendly place because that is the network I’ve created here. I want to show others how to do the same.

My goal is to help people from my generation tap into this wonderful world of the internet in order to create businesses of your own, or to help potential customers of your existing businesses find you online. Whether your business caters only to people within driving distance, or whether you’d love to attract customers and clients from across the country or around the globe, I can teach you free and/or affordable ways to accomplish that.

So if you’re a “boomer who means business”…if you think it might be more fun to rock the internet than a rocking chair…if you would rather go for being a millionaire rather than living on Medicare…this site is for you. Start by subscribing to this blog to stay in touch I’ll meet you on the other side.
